Get Unstuck! Dr. Glenda Eoyang presents Adaptive Action TEDx
Glenda H. Eoyang is founding executive director of the Human Systems Dynamics (HSD) Institute. Since 1986 she has pioneered applications of chaos and complexity to improve people's adaptive capacity. She leads a network of 450 scholar practitioners around the world who use her models and methods to engage with issues such as conflict, school transformation, public policy advocacy, healthcare delivery, and innovation. She teaches and consults internationally; recent clients include Cargill, the McKnight Foundation, the National Institutes of Health, and Oxfam Great Britain. Her most recent book, Adaptive Action: Leveraging Uncertainty in Your Organization, co-authored with Royce Holladay, is a road map to success in turbulent times for individuals, groups, organizations, and communities.
In her TEDxMahtomedi presentation, "Unstuck," Glenda challenges her audience to solve tough challenges by asking three questions: "What?", "So What", and "Now What?"
About TEDx, x = independently organized event. In the spirit of ideas worth spreading, TEDx is a program of local, self-organized events that bring people together to share a TED-like experience. At a TEDx event, TEDTalks video and live speakers combine to spark deep discussion and connection in a small group. These local, self-organized events are branded TEDx, where x = independently organized TED event. The TED Conference provides general guidance for the TEDx program, but individual TEDx events are self-organized.* (*Subject to certain rules and regulations)
